What you monitor
- The recorded HPD record around each campus, month over month
- The community-reported layer, where under-reported losses (mopeds, e-bikes, break-ins) surface first
- Dispatch calls for service and the overnight, hour-of-day pattern around campus
- The neighborhoods students live in (and, for multi-community footprints, each one separately)
- Your campus, student housing, and parking registered by street address on Places, each with the record within about a quarter and a half mile
- Traffic incidents recorded in the area, and the islandwide weather alerts for the period
- Island power outages recorded during the period, against Hawaiian Electric's own published reliability record since 2010 (on islandwide plans)
What it refuses to do. No safety score, no grade, no ranking, no forecast, and never a judgment about a person or address. It describes what was recorded and reported. The conclusions stay yours.
